Mercedes RumiLatin America and The Caribbean Regional LeadMercedes Rumi is a medical doctor from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, where she has participated as a researcher within the Perinatal Neurodevelopmental Programming Laboratory. Her motivation lies in discovering and helping advance medicine, for which she has worked in Infectious Diseases Prevention projects in Kenya and Colombia. To facilitate and strengthen research across LMICs, within The Global Health Network, Mercedes is the Latin America and The Caribbean Regional Lead, and manages a broad portfolio of projects, funded by EU, Wellcome Trust, Gates Foundation and others to help enable health research environment everywhere. |

Steffi Herring-HallTGHN Digital Content DeveloperSteffi has worked with The Global Health Network since 2019 developing digital content across their 60+ hubs. She has a background in Multimedia Production with a 1st class honors degree from Oxford Brookes University. Steffi has spent 8 years working at Oxford University Press publishing digital content for both the English Language Teaching department and Global Academic, bringing academic journals content into the digital world through XML conversion and development. Steffi has curated content for the COVID-19 hub during the pandemic, including webinars, workshops and training videos as well as redesigning many of the regional hubs for TGHN. Most recently Steffi has developed toolkits to support the LMICs and digitised a translated version of an eBook for the Lactahub. |

Julia Rose DurayHub Coordinator and Editorial DirectorJulia Duray is a researcher and communications specialist committed to using media and digital storytelling to improve equity in a variety of settings. She has worked with The Global Health Network since 2021, supporting live events and communications efforts, and most recently served as the Conference Coordinator for The Global Health Network Conference2022: Enabling Health Research in Every Healthcare Setting at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Julia holds a Master of Studies in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oxford, graduating with distinction for her research on women’s self-representation and digital life writing during times of war. Prior to working with The Global Health Network, Julia worked as a performer, creative producer, and educator, with a specific interest in using art and education to advance social justice in the United States. She has helped produce a number of short and feature-length films premiering at festivals around the world, including the Tribeca Film Festival 2022 US Narrative Competition. |
